There is no anti-immigration activity in Poland, "we simply don't agree to people being brought to us by force," President Andrzej Duda said on Wednesday in Auckland. Wednesday begins Duda's official visit in New Zealand, the first ever by a Polish head of state. Asked how he reconciled his anti-immigration policy with the fact that many Polish migrants lived in New Zealand, Duda told a press conference after talks with New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Arden that Poland did not oppose migration as such but rather the forced relocation of migrants. In this context he described the EU's quota-based refugee relocation plan as "enslavement" and stressed that Poland found the solution "unimaginable."
