Polish President Andrzej Duda in a Monday message sent to the president of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping offered words of sympathy to the families of Wuhan coronavirus victims. "On behalf of the Polish nation and myself, I would like to offer my sympathy and support to the families of those who died as a result of coronavirus infection and my best wishes for a quick recovery for all infected," the Polish president wrote. Duda added that he has been closely following the development of events related to the spread of the disease and appreciates the Chinese leader's prompt reaction "which no doubt prevented the further uncontrolled development of the epidemic and thus saved many lives, both in the People's Republic of China and in other countries."
