Eleven people ended up in hospital after inhaling the poisonous carbon monoxide that leaked in the winter arena on the Vystaviste exhibition grounds in Prague-Holesovice on Sunday evening, Prague emergency service spokeswoman Jana Postova has said. Rescuers transported ten people to Prague hospitals directly from the Vystaviste complex, while another man was hospitalised later after he called the emergency service from his home. Some 20 people inhaled the poisonous gas in the arena where amateur ice-hockey players were training last night. The source of the carbon monoxide was probably an ice resurfacer, Prague police spokesman Jan Danek told CTK.
