The things that have happened in Slovakia since the murders of investigative journalist Jan Kuciak and his fiancée have badly damaged the country's image, Slovakia's former permanent representative to NATO and current Carnegie Europe director Tomas Valasek said in an interview published by SME daily. "Before that we were viewed in Europe as a positive anomaly among the V4 countries. The V4 as a whole has a very bad image in the EU, being perceived as a group of countries that failed to show enough solidarity during the migration crisis," said Valasek.
