The EU should welcome the United Kingdom's proposals on Brexit, deputy foreign minister Konrad Szymanski said in an interview to daily Rzeczpospolita. The UK is a "live democracy", with many different standpoints, he said, which is probably why "this process has gone out of control on many occasions." The UK's divorce from the EU should not hinder trade and cooperation on security, he said, warning that the risk of a Brexit without an agreement is "higher than ever."
