Danko: global peace impossible without strong Russia

Global peace is not possible without a strong Russia, as Russia forms part of a global security architecture "whether people like it or not", Slovak Parliamentary Speaker Andrej Danko said in his address to the lower house of the Russian Parliament, the State Duma, on Wednesday. Danko, the first ever Slovak politician to speak in the Duma, said that the Slavic nations of eastern Europe must act as a bridge for both communications and the improvement of relations across Europe.
