Daily numbers of new Covid-19 cases still over 200 in Czech Republic

The daily numbers of new coronavirus cases in the Czech Republic are still over 200 this week with 244 infections confirmed on Wednesday, while 5,232 are currently ill, according to the Health Ministry's data released on Thursday morning. Since the outbreak of the epidemic in early March, a total of 17,529 have been infected with Covid-19 in the country and the number of active infections keeps rising. Almost 12,000 have already recovered, which is roughly 68 percent of cases, and 388 patients with Covid-19 have died so far.
