Czechs' satisfaction with democracy highest in 14 years - poll

Three fifths of people are satisfied with the functioning of democracy in the Czech Republic, a proportion that has remained unchanged since February 2017 and is the highest since 2004, when people's view on the issue started to be monitored, according to a recent poll released by CVVM. Fifty-six percent of the respondents said democracy is a better regime than any other. Their share increased by eight percent in the past year.
