The Czech Republic supported the Global Compact on Refugees, a legally unbinding document on international cooperation in this area, at the UN General Assembly on Monday, despite PM Andrej Babis's disapproval. Only the United States and Hungary voted against the pact that extended the current international legal framework concerning refugees. This document differs from the United Nations Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration, on which the UN General Assembly will vote on Wednesday. Babis (ANO) disagrees with both pacts.
