Czech taxi drivers protest against Uber at Prague airport

Czech police had to intervene to settle a dispute between registered local taxi drivers and rival Uber at Praqie airport on Friday. In an action, about 50 licenced taxi drivers put stickers on the arriving Uber cars to label their operation illegal. Uber says it does not offer taxi services but offers shared ride on the principle of shared economy. In the first half of the year, Uber carried 340 percent more clients in Prague than in the same period in 2016.
