The Czech Social Democrats (CSSD) may abandon the quotas for women's representation on their list of candidates for some elections and at least one woman in the party board, under the proposal of new party rules to be discussed by the delegates to the forthcoming CSSD congress. The congress will be held in Hradec Kralove, east Bohemia, on Friday and Saturday. In addition, the central executive committee, the supreme party body between congresses, will be dissolved. The proposed new party rules are considerably shorter than the current ones, bringing tens of changes. The proposal only includes the most important things, CSSD deputy chairman Martin Netolicky, who submits them, said.
