Czech Senate rejects creation of European Labour Authority

The Senate, the upper house of Czech parliament, rejected the establishment of the European Labour Authority, which should mediate and facilitate job-related cross border disputes in the EU, as nothing more than yet another bureaucratic institution. "The EU already has so many bodies, it is overbodied," Senate deputy chairman Jaroslav Kubera said.
