Czech Senate head to meet Taiwan senior officials in Taipei

Czech Senate chairman Milos Vystrcil will meet with Taiwanese senior officials during his visit to Taipei next week and he will also have talks with four Taiwanese ministers, Senate press secretary Sue Nguyen told CTK on Tuesday. She said Taiwan will give a medal for parliamentary diplomacy to Vystrcil and bestow a state award on his predecessor, late Senate chairman Jaroslav Kubera who died in January shortly before his planned visit to Taipei. According to the programme of the official visit, the Czech delegation headed by Vystrcil will fly from Prague on Saturday.
CTK
