The results of the Czech October Senate elections are definitively valid now that the Supreme Administrative Court (NSS) dismissed all seven complaints about them it received by the deadline, it has announced. The last complaint, which the NSS rejected on Thursday, was filed by small groupings Alliance of National Forces and The United, which complained about parties' unequal access to media space and the disadvantages arising from it for extra-parliamentary parties. The NSS said that a balanced and equal approach cannot be understood mechanically as absolute equality of subjects running in elections but as graduated equality. A proportional representation depending on individual political forces' significance is in harmony with law, the NSS said.
