Czech scientists have found a new species of a beetle of the Dermestidae family in south Moravia's riparian forest above the confluence of the Morava and Dyje rivers, on old oak trees, Daniela Prochazkova, from the Biology Centre of the Academy of Sciences (BC CAS), said in a press release today. "It is an extraordinary find. Central Europe is well researched and we only rarely find species of beetles unknown to science," said Petr Sipek, from the Czech Entomology Society.
