The Institute of Chemistry and Biochemistry of Mendel University in Brno examines the use of microalgae to remove azo dyes and further toxic substances from the environment, team head Marketa Vaculovicova told journalists on Tuesday. As the only from the Czech Republic, the scientists have joined the international project Greener that is to develop and use in practice instruments with which to remove toxic substances from water and soil.
