Researchers from the Czech Technical University (CVUT) in Prague introduced the Czech scientific satellite Lucky-7, which will be launched to space on Friday as part of the Soyuz 2-1b rocket from the Russian Vostochny Cosmodrome, to the journalists today. The satellite is to enable testing of the most recent scientific findings on the composition of electronic systems and radio communication of space probes studying outer space. CVUT students were working on the device since 2011, later within a private project. Researchers Jaroslav Laifr and Pavel Kovar said it was an economically independent project without state subsidies.
