Czech Republic lagging behind in climate change fight - study

The Czech Republic does not do very well in fighting climate change as it is placed 20th out of the 28 EU member states in the rankings of the Climate Action Network (CAN) organisation, released recently. The CAN has assessed the EU countries on the basis of their fulfilment of the climate goals for 2020. The Czech Republic has fulfilled 33 percent of the criteria. Environmentalists assess its effort in the fight with climate change as "poor."
