Czech public sector unions declare strike alert

The trade unions of employees from the Czech public sector declared a strike alert in support of their demand for a 10-percent pay rise as of November, Josef Stredula, leader of the CMKOS umbrella trade union, told journalists after a meeting of union leaders on Wednesday.
