October 3rd, 2017

The Czech Republic's population has risen by 73,400 over the past five years, mainly as a result of foreign immigration, according to demographic figures published by the Czech Statistical Office (CSU) on Tuesday. Although the birth rate has increased recently, Czech society is ageing. The average age of Czech inhabitants was 42 years last year.
