Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis wishes for the European Court of Auditors (ECA) to have a stronger weight in the deciding on money flows in the EU, he said when visiting the ECA headquarters on the second day of his two-day visit to Luxembourg on Friday. Established in 1977, the ECA sees to that EU money is spent on the respective envisaged purposes and in accordance with rules. However, it has no executive powers in case of uncovered discrepancies.
