Czech PM Babis meets Juncker

Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis met European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and EU Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier in Brussels on Thursday. Babis said earlier today that he would not discuss the EU audits on his suspected conflict of interest with Juncker. EC sources said it was a standard meeting before the beginning of the EU summit to begin later on Thursday. EC spokesman Margaritis Schinas tweeted that the two leaders discussed the programme of today's summit, the bloc's future strategic priorities and topics concerning common interests.
