Czech party youth chapters agree on cooperation in four areas

The youth organisations of seven parties in the Czech parliament signed a memorandum of cooperation in four areas on Thursday, project coordinator Jana Soukupova, from the Group of Young Political Scientists, has told reporters. The cooperation topics include state digitalisation, reduction of plastics, support for young scientists and extended care for young people's mental health. The youth organisations of the ruling ANO and the Social Democrats (CSSD) and the opposition Civic Democrats (ODS), Christian Democrats (KDU-CSL), TOP 09 along with Mayors and Independents (STAN) and Pirates will participate in the project, Soukupova said. Working groups of MPs, representatives of the parties' youth organisations and experts will be formed to focus on the issues with the aim of working out the respective bills.
