Czech ministry gives protection to Chinese wanted from Taiwan

The Czech Interior Ministry granted a one-year international protection to eight detained Taiwanese, whom mainland China demands to be extradited, their lawyer Miroslav Krutina said in a press release on Monday and the ministry confirmed. China says the Prague-based organised criminal group is suspected of fraudulently extracting money from Chinese citizens.
