Czech doctors issue 58.5 million e-prescriptions in 2018

About 58.5 million electronic prescriptions for medicines were issued in 2018, and 5 percent of the e-prescriptions were sent to the mobile phones of the patients as text messages, the Health Ministry said in a press release today. Some 56 million e-prescriptions were submitted to pharmacies and the medicines were given to the patients.
