Czech courts do not recognise same-sex marriage

The Brno birth register proceeded rightfully when it did not recognise a marriage of two men officiated in the Netherlands, the Czech Supreme Administrative Court (NSS) has ruled, rejecting the men's complaint. Same-sex marriages are not recognised in the Czech Republic where the law only allows for registered partnership of same-sex couples, NSS said.
