Czech court punishes boys for fight triggering social tension

A Czech court on Tuesday imposed suspended sentences on four youths for participation in a street fight that increased tension between the white majority and the Romany minority in the north Bohemian border area around Sluknov in 2011 and resulted in disturbances. The court proceedings were held behind closed doors because of the low age of three of the suspects. The must cover the damage incurred, including several tens of thousands of crowns for medical treatment of two injured persons and a broken door.
