Czech businessmen currently own over 10,000 firms in Slovakia

Czechs have been number one among foreign owners of Slovak companies long term, with Czech businessmen currently owning 10,341 Slovak firms, which is 484 more than last year, according to data provided to TASR by transnational consulting company Bisnode on Monday. The number of Czech entrepreneurs owning Slovak firms is growing by hundreds every year. The reason is unambiguous, it's much easier for Czech businessmen to expand into the Slovak market than into other ones, as the two countries have a common history.
