Czech botanist receives EU grant for plant genome research

Czech botanist Filip Kolar became one of more than 400 young European scientists who received a grant from the European Research Council (ERC) for his work on genomic multiplication in plants that can have valuable implications in agriculture, the ERC announced today. Kolar's Double Adapt project received almost two million euros for a five-year research programme.
