CSSD wants Czech minimum wage to rise by 1,200 crowns

September 24th, 2018

The Social Democrats (CSSD) want the minimum wage to rise by 1,200 crowns to 13,400 crowns a month as of January next year, instead of the 1,500 crowns they have backed so far, Labour and Social Affairs Minister Jana Malacova (CSSD) told CTK after a meeting of the Tripartite Council on Friday. The Tripartite Council consists of representatives of the government, trade unions and employers.
