Contract with D1-motorway stretch contractor to be terminated by agreement

According to materials from the Transport Ministry approved by the government on Wednesday, the contract with the contractor for the Lietavska Lucka-Visnove-Dubna skala D1-motorway stretch will be terminated via an agreement. The agreement on terminating the contract between the National Highway Company (NDS) and the Salini Impregilo consortium has allegedly been okayed by the European Commission. The contract will be terminated immediately based on a mutual agreement between both parties, with the contractor set to vacate the site within a pre-defined period.
