Construction of Poland's Expo 2020 pavilion kicks off in Dubai

Construction of the Polish pavilion for Expo 2020 in Dubai has begun, the government-run Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) announced in a statement on Tuesday. Poland's participation in the World Expo is a PAIH strategic project to boost the country's economic relations with the Middle East, said PAIH President Grazyna Ciurzynska, who was in Dubai on Monday to unveil a signboard which informed about the start of the pavilion's construction. The Polish Pavilion will be the main arena for presentations about Poland during Expo 2020 and have the the slogan "Creativity inspired by nature." The topics of the exhibition recommended by the organisers - mobility and sustainable development - will be expanded upon by Poland in three areas: technology, international cooperation and nature, PAIH said.
