Civic group files lawsuit against president's office head Mynar

The Reconstruction of State civic group has filed a lawsuit against President Milos Zeman's office head Vratislav Mynar over interfering with the judicial independence when contacting some judges, the group said today, adding that the president himself might be suspected of a crime. According to the group's analysis, Mynar breached the independence of the courts when he met Constitutional Court (US) judge Vojtech Simicek and wrote a letter to Supreme Administrative Court (NSS) chairman Josef Baxa.
