Chamber sends tax on compensation to churches to final vote

The Communist (KSCM) bill on the taxation of financial compensations paid to churches within the state-church property settlement was passed in the second reading in the Czech Chamber of Deputies today and the final vote on it may be held at the session in late January. The Communists make their tolerance of the minority government of the ANO movement and the Social Democrats (CSSD) conditional also on the passage of their bill on taxation of the compensations paid to churches.
