Chamber of Deputies head to visit US next week

The chairman of the Czech Chamber of Deputies, Radek Vondracek (ANO), on Wednesday announced that he will pay an official visit to the United States Congress next week. Vondracek said previously that Czech representatives had received an official invitation to the Congress 23 years ago. He said during his ten-day trip he wanted to stress the importance of transatlantic links and to highlight the centenary of Czechoslovakia, to which he said the Czech community living in the US in the early 20th century had strongly contributed.
