Slovakia will allocate 600,000 euros from its development aid fund for Syria, said Ambassador Lubomir Cano of Slovakia's Permanent Representation to the EU as part of the international conference called 'Supporting the Future of Syria and the Region', held in Brussels on Wednesday. According to Cano, the Brussels conference organised by the EU along with the UN is bringing several important political messages. One of them is to recall that the international community has not forgotten about the crisis in Syria and strives to increase its efforts in accumulating resources to ease the suffering of people in this country.
