Analyses of waste water have confirmed that novel coronavirus has been spreading among the population, water management company Bratislavska Vodarenska Spolocnost (BVS) has stated, adding that it's identified inactive virus fragments flowing into waste water treatment plants in Bratislava's boroughs of Vrakuna and Petrzalka, BVS spokesman Peter Podstupka told TASR on Thursday. Waste water from the largest waste water treatment plant in Vrakuna and from the treatment plant in Petrzalka were monitored for the presence of RNA fragments of the SARS-CoV-2 virus between April and June and in September.
