Brussels may grant Slovakia extra year for drawing eurofunds, says Fico

Slovakia has achieved its first small success in being granted three instead of two years for drawing European funds by the European Commission, Slovakia's Prime Minister Robert Fico said on Wednesday. Fico was speaking after a meeting with President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso that was held prior to the planned summit of European leaders in Brussels.
