Brno Technical Museum commemorates inventor of Braille system

The Brno Technical Museum received the personal raphigraphe device of Louis Braille, the inventor of the writing system for the visually impaired, as a gift from Switzerland, the museum has said. The device is to become part of an exhibition marking 210 years since Braille's birth and running through February 25. A raphigraphe is some kind of a typing machine for the visually impaired invented by Braille's colleague Pierre Foucault.
