Becva River water analysis confirms excessive amount of nickel

The Becva River water samples, taken by the Environmental Inspection (CIZP) employees on Tuesday afternoon, have shown an excessive amount of nickel, but did not find a higher cyanides amount, CIZP spokeswoman wrote in a press release today. Foam occured on the Becva River surface on Tuesday. Polluting substances leaked into the river from the mouth of the piping of the Tesla electrotechnical company in nearby Roznov, Mayor of Valasske Mezirici Robert Strzinek (ANO) said.
