Banska Bystrica to host 2021 European Youth Olympic Festival

Banska Bystrica will host a top European youth sports event in 2021 - the summer European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF). The Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee and mayors of the Banska Bystrica region signed a Memorandum on Co-operation and Support for the EYOF 2021 on Thursday in Banska Bystrica. The beginning of this multi-genre sports event for young sportsmen aged 14-18 dates back to 1991. Banska Bystrica, which was the European City of Sport in 2017, is already the sixteenth city to host it.
TASR
