Babis pledges 10-percent salary rise for non-teaching staff

August 24th, 2018

The salaries of non-teaching staff in Czech education are to grow by 10 percent in 2019 as PM Andrej Babis pledged this to school trade unionists today, the Czech Television has broadcast and Babis confirmed to CTK via SMS. So far, the education budget reckoned with a non-teaching staff salary increase of six percent. The promise of a 10-percent rise does not apply to other non-teaching staff in the civil service, for which the cabinet proposes a 6-percent rise.
