The presidents of the four Visegrad Group countries have agreed that European Union cohesion and farm funds should be maintained in the 2021-2027 budget cycle, Janos Ader, Hungary's head of state, said in Lany, near Prague, on Thursday. Speaking at an international news conference after a summit of Visegrad presidents, Ader said that it was agreed that cohesion and agricultural funds "should not be changed and we should have the same resources as before". It is in the interest of both the EU and "new" EU member states to close the development gap between them, the president said.
