The world's population, estimated to reach 10 billion by 2050, will need 50 percent more food and 30 percent more water by that time, President Janos Ader said in a lecture at Godollo, outside Budapest, on Tuesday. Speaking at St. Istvan University, the president addressed the issue of water consumption in light of climate change and he outlined options for avoiding a major water shortage crisis.
