V4 Foreign Affairs Committees Call on Russia to Respect Its Obligations under International Law
The Representatives of the Foreign Affairs Committees of the Chamber of Deputies and Senate of the Czech Republic,the Hungarian National Assembly, the Sejm and the Senate of the Republic of Poland, and the National Council of the Slovak Republic met in Bratislava on February 25, 2015.
The Representatives of the Foreign Affairs Committees of the V4 countries reaffirm their commitment to continue and strengthen their cooperation.The Foreign Affairs Committees of the National Parliaments of the Visegrad Group countries agree that the most pressing challenges to current geopolitical situation are now external. The annexation of Crimea by Russia and the subsequent intervention in Ukraine represent the most blatant breach of the OSCE principles since the signing of the 1975 Helsinki Final Act.
