Zilina: 17-year-old schoolgirl sentenced to 12 years for brutal momicide

A Zilina District Court on Friday sentenced 17-year-old Judita to 12 years and four months in jail for a brutal murder of her 16-year-old classmate Tomas in a case that has made headlines in the Slovak media, TASR learnt from Zilina Regional Court spokesperson Anna Dudova Zaborska on the same day. Tomas was murdered in a flat of an apartment building in Zilina on May 16, 2019, succumbing to about 50 stabbing wounds made with a large knife with blade length of 18.5 centimetres.
