Zeman wants Babis to run for president, ANO to decide - Babis

Czech President Milos Zeman wants outgoing PM Andrej Babis to run for president, but the decision is up to the ANO movement, Babis said in an interview for Blesk tabloid today, adding that he himself wants to focus on his opposition role in the Chamber of Deputies now. Among other priorities, he said he wants to consolidate his movement and define the shadow government, for instance. When asked whether he will run as a candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Babis said that his movement will have to decide on it.
