Zeman to meet govt on Feb 17, PM Babis next Friday

A meeting of President Milos Zeman with the government was postponed from February 3, when the farewell ceremony in memory of the late Senate chairman Jaroslav Kubera will be held, until February 17, Zeman's spokesman Jiri Ovcacek told CTK on Friday. Zeman's regular meeting with Prime Minister Andrej Babis is scheduled for January 31. Zeman will welcome the coalition cabinet of Babis's ANO and the Social Democrats (CSSD) at his summer manor in Lany near Prague. He will meet the ministers after more than one year. In 2018, Zeman hosted an Advent dinner for Babis's minority cabinet on December 10.
