March 25th, 2020
The Czech 2020 budget deficit, set at 40 billion crowns and passed by parliament late last year, will be increased to 200 billion crowns based on an amendment the lower house passed on Tuesday and President Milos Zeman signed into the law today, Zeman's spokesman has announced. The increase has been forced out by the coronavirus epidemic and the related government measures.
