President Milos Zeman's suspicion of "sabotage" during his hospitalisation last year was unsubstantiated, the High Public Prosecutor's Office has concluded, but it keeps investigating a possible forging of a medical report, the public Czech TV reported today. In his suggestion submitted at the end of June, Zeman said he as the directly elected head of state had faced an attempt to be stripped of his powers. Senate chairman Milos Vystrcil (Civic Democrats, ODS) previously called the suggestion "an almost folly" as it targeted something that had not occurred.
